Here is a quick post from home — (I may talk about home later)…

Yesterday I recieved a very interesting e-mail with a linguistic test to check your Dixieness/Yankeeness — It was pretty cool.

My score was

“83% (Dixie). Do you still use Confederate money?”

You can take the test here

Good Luck!

Oh, by the way, if I had any Confederate money it would probably be in a frame on my wall.

93%. It asked me, “Is General Lee your grandfather?”

Haha I am 89% Dixie. It asked me the same question about Confederate money. 🙂

    More test results:

    Dad: 91% Dixie
    Mom: 81% Dixie

Mom predicted that Dad would be pretty darn Dixie because “he grew up with Papaw Jackie.” Hehe. When you meet him you’ll understand. He’s probably 100% Dixie…

I’m 89% too. I think my Yankee father (converted) has rubbed off on me.

74% Dixie Your neck must be at least pink.

I guess that’s easy to understand because I’m from north Georgia, which is kinda mixed.

For example, I call my grandmother on Dad’s side Granny, and my grandmother on Mom’s side just plain Grandmother.

Thought For The Week

I want to clarify that there is no political problem that is not really a heart problem with hearts not connected to Christ. Only one Kingdom is really important, and this isn't it.

But just as it's sad to see poorly coded software, a badly built building, or an ugly city, it's even more sad to see a nation being thrown away. As custodians of this earth, we should do better.
